The London College of Fashion MA show has set the tone for London Fashion Week Mens AW2018. With a tentative excitement in the air of not knowing what to expect, the ten designers Yixin Zhang, Hanni Yang, Ying Yi Lu, Han Xu, Coline Gauthier, Wenya Huang, Hengmin Lu, Sohyeon Park, Ming Lai Lee and XUBO showcased their full range of unique artist expression through extraordinary individual collections. The collections held no boundaries, celebrating fashion’s unbounded, global nature. In addition, the expectations of structured male tailoring were redefined with frills and flares giving the collections a slight androgynous undertone. The artificial sounds met with a mixture of extreme and subtle colours and textures stimulated the senses, making for a captivating show of true talent.
