The ongoing evolution of womenswear will no doubt dominate the catwalks of the next coming days. The London College of Fashion MA students Leanne Callon, Jiali Lu, Feiyi Shuai, Vicky Kleung, Nina Galbé-Delord, The.Ran, Rongxia, Dmitry Gotsfrid, Juneyen and EREN began London Fashion Week with an array of concept which lend themselves not only to this redefining of traditional fashion boundaries but celebrating fashions borderless nature and the innovate talent of London’s upcoming designers. With every passing model it was clear to see the individuality of each designer: with oversized, unusual draping suits combined with corsets, 90s low cut waists and 50s bullet bras, there was an evident shared cultural influence as models embraced the masculine silhouettes as well as womens’. This was not only our prolog into London Fashion Week but an enticing insight into the work of new talent.
