For This Spring/Summer London Fashion Week, Jigsaw explored the notion of the ‘see-now buy-now’ concept, and celebrated the release of Autumn/Winter 17 line ‘Å’. With a curiousity into what makes a garment ‘luxurious’, and how to bring ‘luxury’ into the contemporary market, designer Collette Brown delved into English Eccentricity, combining the idea with the bohemium lifestyle of Virginia Woolf, to create a collection that is both bold and eclectic, with a nod to luxury through elegant and classic fabrication and colour choices.
Working with a colour pallet of amethyst, hunter green and navy, working with pops of gold and bright green, the collection pieces are a nod to how well clashing of colour can actually work in a collection, particularly for the Autumn/Winter season – combined with soft roll necks, and elegantly feminine dresses, against masculine silhouettes and structural outerwear, Jigsaw’s ‘Å’ Autumn/Winter 17 collection is not only timelessly fashionable, but also stylish and fashion forward.
