Creating huge impact, the soundtrack set the tone for the collection. It was immediately apparent that this was a collection with a difference. Composed of organic cotton the fabric had a rustic texture, enhanced with embellishment created from recycled materials. With inventive use of everyday waste, plastic, glass and CDs were woven and embroidered into the collection, creating a reflective embellishment. It was refreshing to see a designer using recycled materials in a flawless way, the skilled composition of each garment meant you could never tell.
Dedicating this collection to the ‘modern wild girl’ this show was showstopping. The models walked with an infectious attitude, the atmosphere was very empowering.
