It is the essence of femininity with co-ords highlighting the waist; silky shirts a subtle cleavage and skirted shorts a playful leg. Cuts and design pay homage to Claire McCaredell’s ‘American Sportswear’, a great reminder that we don’t have to choose between beauty and practicality. From the flower on flower on flower presentation held on the 2nd floor of the National Portrait Gallery viewers left falling unwillingly like autumn leaves back to reality.
