Moss and vibrant flowers coated the floors of The Painting Rooms, ivy burst through the frames of the pristine white doors, creating a dreamy wonderland feel for the Three Floor presentation.
The innocent, playful atmosphere that the set design created was darkened as the models entered, angular dresses in deep tones of red, purple and black made an instant impact. As we caught up with Head of Design, Marie Sripha-Tate she explains that the gothic tone was inspired by a novel she had read called ‘The House of a Thousand Lanterns’. This dark, sultry tone shows hints at the evolution of design from last season, however the signature features remained consistent and true to brand. The floral lace and the composition of different materials remained prevalent.
As we continued our conversation with Marie, she alluded to the described the upcoming aim of the brand to become more versatile, whilst the dresses will remain the core champion pieces of the collection she’s keen to emphasise they’re focusing more and more on versatility and creating separates that can be easily interchanged with one another.
