Futuristic work wear was the setting of Xander Zhou’s collection presented at the Mermaid Puddle Dock. The scene was set for the show with the use of an office layout, allowing you to visualise the setting for the collection. The use of artificial lighting was contrasted by the colour blocking and eye catching modern looks and the office noise in the background helped to create a performance for Zhou’s edgy tailoring.
The office wear garments chosen by Zhou presented a vibrant and innovative style – it was space meets workwear. The collection styles show how clothes can allow someone to be at their peak when in the right clothing. The clothes are deigned to enhance the wear of the collection with heat sensitive cloth and high performance polyester. Zhou’s collection is a blend of looking smart and working to the best of the ability with oversized tailored macs, jumpers, colour trousers, men gowns and textured jackets. Each item envisioned advance luxury office wear, with the technique of colour block and space like long puffa jackets the collection was ahead in office wear style.
