The beauty of skin lies in the imperfections, the raw intricateness of how our genetics form to bless us with our own identity and personality. The character that we present to others is stripped back; a raw indication of introspection beautifies itself through the human form. “Bare Skin” explores the innocent magnificence of the genetic scripture, the hues of cream, or rose pink and of ebony warmth mastering themselves into explanations of rawness. Iringo Demete explores the relevance of our bare skin, of its importance of what we must identity as our very own introspection. What we see as being named flaws is magnified, transformed into pieces of art and intricacy. The delicateness of bare skin is celebrated, an introspection into identity of what makes us unique.
