Renowned for their tailoring and timeless pieces, AW17 saw DAKS sophisticated woman add a new notch to her structured belt. Set in the glamourous setting of the Langham Hotel amongst chandeliers and old worldy decor, the production was as beautiful as the collection. Effortless femininity flowed through the collection, from the blush palette tones to light chiffon fabrics. The juxtaposition of their quintessentially masculine pieces versus this seasons softer shapes allowed for this collection to open a new dimension into who the DAKS woman really is. Prince of Wales check in tones of grey mixed with gleaming metallic, classic city pin stripe mixed with leather and checked electric blues were some of the fabrication highlights this collection had to offer. Outerwear played a key role this season with plenty of lengths, fabric mixes and colours to choose from. Styled with beanie hats, this elegant lady was given an urban kick. We cannot wait to find out more.
