E. Tautz autumn/winter collection tailored line featured 80s rock vibe style with somber shades of olive green, grey and tan/charcoal. Kicking off day two with the line named as ‘Scarecrows’, which reflects Peter Mitchell’s photographic project of scarecrows in the countryside in 1974.
The collection does embrace the look of a hay-man, the models acted as mannequin for style that is simply old materials, wool coats and a sinister appearance. The show sets the scene with striking lights and winding catwalk preparing the models to walk the ‘field’.
The appearing of the models through thin doors allowed them to act as a decoy for the audience to observe their fall attire. The models glaring straight back at us with geeky Kirk Originals definitely compliments the dapper look. Window paned checked blazers and shirts are consistent through the collection.
The all British heritage brand sets itself with high hopes for being a highly favoured and modern gentlemen choice for this season.
