Ryan Lo SS16 – London Fashion Week

Being the official last show of London Fashion Week there’s no doubt is an important job and Ryan Lo continued to impress this season with his super dreamy ‘Be my Valentine, Be my sweetie..’ collection.

With his signature colour palette of pinks, whites, reds he also added purples and greens to create a mesmerising collection full of frills, ruffles and joy. The collection saw Ryan venture into print for the first time adding versatility to the garments. He was inspired by the gingerbread cottage of Hansel & Gretel and he developed his repeating houses, breaking hearts and lava lamp dots prints from it.

The collection saw a magical selection of dresses all with that sense of romance in true Lo style. The dresses were paired with knee length frilly socks and Sophia Webster heels that complimented the collection down to perfection. The detail in every item of was incredible, from lace dresses, knits, frilly tulle skirts and 3D ruffled trousers. It was like entering the perfect princess fantasy. It is incredibly exciting to see the detail in every item, having taught himself how to knit from Youtube tutorials, Lo has come a long way producing collections that break the rules yet remain sophisticated and timeless.

Models also wore sweet rose laden jackets, enchanting capes and dreamy cardigans. It was fashion meets fairy tale in the best possible way. Lo wanted to send a message about feeling the love and we certainly felt that through his collection.
